Movers Meeting

Every Saturday (exept for the last Sato of the month) our youth come together to meet and to organize activities to create awareness about epilepsy. If you want to join in, feel free to come to our training centre and to be part of the team of active volunteers. You can walk in from 9 am, by 11 am the meeting kicks off and takes place until 2 pm. Our Training Centre is in Nairobi West, Birongi Square (matatu 14 from town to Madaraka). The last Saturday of the month we have a Picnic with the team, all the time at a different place. In case you'd like to join in, call Annie Arogo for more information: 0733221653.

Sikika Talk

During the Movers Meeting we also have our Sikika talk about the most burning issues of our group. (Sikika means being heard). We talk of issues like: epilepsy and sex, conning, changing dreams into reality, inferiority, rape. If you have an issue you'd like to discuss, feel free to bring it in and we'll put it on the list of topics!

The discussions are reported in articles for the Sikika magazine which people all over Kenya read. So get out of the shadows and join in our talks!
